Pro League of Legends games usually last between 30 and 40 minutes, but occasionally they can last for what feels like forever! Here are the five longest games in LoL history.

5. Team Roccat vs Origen, EU LCS 2017 Spring (77:57)

In Week 7 of the 2017 EU LCS, it was a battle of the win-less teams between Roccat and Origen. They were a combined 0-14, but somebody had to win this one. However, based on game one it seemed like nobody would. Roccat didn’t get their first kill until the 50 minute mark but despite that they only trailed by 5k gold. Origen could have closed out the game earlier but Wisdom was repeatedly caught out of position. Eventually, after 5 barons, Origen figured it out. Roccat would however go on to win the series…

4. Jin Air Green Wings vs. CJ Entus, Champions 2015 Spring
(79:45)

For Jin Air and Cj Entus, the game was kill-less until 20 minutes when a dragon fight broke out. But the game was fairly even until CJ Entus was finally able to start garnering a lead. A lead that they held for a long-time, but Jin Air did a fantastic job of stalling out the game. Despite CJ Entus getting a fifth stack of dragon, the Green Wings still kept their cool and secure picks thanks to GBM’s Xerath. With superior scaling, Jin Air waited out CJ Entus for well over an hour before breaking their base with excellent lane management. A 79 minute dragon fight went the way of Jin Air and they briskly ended the contest.

3. Origen vs Fnatic, EU LCS 2016 Summer (80:28)

Fnatic stomped all over Origen in game one but the second game was a whole other story. Fnatic dominated the dragon as they picked up the first five including 3 ocean drakes. Yet Origen was focussed on turrets as they cracked open’s Fnatic inhib line with the help of a 30 minute baron. For the next 50 or so minutes, Origen would continuously knock down Fnatic’s inhibitors but couldn’t close out the game. Of course, with xPeke on the team as the ADC, Origen ended the game without killing their opponent. xPeke on ADC didn’t pick up a single kill whereas Reckless broke the CS record as he killed 858 minions.

2. Complexity vs. Curse, NA LCS 2014 Summer (80:37)

Coming off a 3-1 super week, Curse was hoping to climb to the top of the LCS standings. However, Complexity put them through the ringer to do so. Curse continuously held the kill lead but trailed in gold until they took the first inhibitor of the game at the 56 minute mark. The game lingered on a knife’s edge for the next twenty minutes as teammates failed to be decisive one way or the other. After 79 minutes, Complexity took the Baron and as minions streamed into Curse’s base, the casters were ready for the game to end. Regardless of playing for over 80 minutes, Quas never died even though he was on the losing team.

1. AHqesports vs. HK Attitude, LNL 2014 Winter Qualifiers (91:21)

The longest game in pro League of Legends occurred in the League of Legends Nova League. Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao’s first fully pro league. Ahq esports and HK Attitude went to absolute war for over an hour and a half… And unlike the other games on the list, this was an absolute bloodbath. HKA slowly developed a lead and both bases had been broken early on. Even with a massive kill lead, Hong Kong attitude were unable to find a game-ending moment. Finally, a two for two trade in the AHq base was enough. HKA picked up kill number 40 and 41 so that they could finally end the game.
