5. Peanut and Pray 2v4

It’s no wonder that the ROX Tigers were a tournament favourite when you look at the mechanical skill of their players. At Worlds 2016, Peanut took home the most Player of the Game awards with 4, as his aggressive style often singlehandedly earned ROX the win. However, Peanut also had fantastic chemistry with his teammates, including his AD Carry ‘Pray’. Even in a 2v4 situation against SKTelecom in the semifinals, Pray and Peanut were able to turn in around.

4. Uzi’s Vayne Mechanics

Sure Uzi has yet to win a World Championship, but he’s a two-time runner-up. Known for his aggression and ability to pull-off outplays in any situation, Uzi has long been looked at as one of the game’s best. Already with a 1 game lead against OMG in the 2013 Quarterfinals, Uzi got his hands on Vayne, and somehow managed to stay alive in a hectic teamfight.

3. xPeke Shocks Imp

2015 was a great year for European League of Legends fans. Not only did they have Fnatic’s perfect roster attending, but they also sent xPeke and Origen to Worlds. Both teams would end up in the semifinals after putting up great group stage performances.
In a nail-biter against LGD in groups, Imp was fed on the hyper-scaling Kog’maw. But it didn’t matter how many kills Imp had as xPeke took over on his farmed up Orianna.

2. Dunkmaster Darius x2

At 2015 Worlds, Darius was a popular top lane pick. Not only was he a bully in lane, but he also had engage potential with his flash-E, and the ability to reset his ultimate. The strength of Darius was on full display as several top laners dunked opponent after opponent on their way to penta-kills.

1. Pray’s Ashe Arrow vs. SKT

All of the plays thus far have been incredible mechanical feats, but the number 1 play was a game winning prediction. Trailing SKT 1-0 in the 2016 semifinals, ROX had a sizeable gold lead in game 2.
While Pray and Kuro were split pushing the top lane, Peanut got caught out at bottom. With their eyes set on the empty SKT base, Pray made an incredible prediction that would end up winning ROX the game.
