5 Most Kills In LCS History | LoL esports

2018 marks the sixth season and 11th split of the NA and EU LCS, so it’s only fair that we acknowledge some of the players that have stood out from the pack and standed the test of time.

Whether in Europe or North America, playoffs or regular season, these guys have been racking up kills ever since they burst onto the scene.

Here are the five most kills in the history of the LCS

5. Froggen – 1220 Kills

If the LCS started up in Season 2, this young man would be much higher on the list. Regarded as one of the best mid laners in the world during League’s second season, Froggen was a main stay in the EU LCS for 3 years, claiming an LCS title and league MVP. In 2016 Froggen went across the pond to join Echo Fox and the North American LCS. Despite missing out on the playoffs for 6 consecutive splits, the original Dane in the mid lane still comes in at number 5 on our list. 2018 spring will be the first LCS season to not feature Froggen on a roster.

4. Doublelift – 1445 Kills

Again, if the LCS existed in season 2 this guy would find himself much higher on the list. A featured carry on any roster that he’s played on, Doublelift has an LCS record 4 penta kills. Despite playing for 3 different teams Doublelift has averaged over 4 kills a game in 7 of the 10 LCS splits. If he hadn’t chosen to sit out the majority of the 2017 Spring split to focus on streaming, he’d be in the top 3 of this list.

3. Sneaky – 1451 Kills

Sneaky wasn’t part of the inaugural LCS season in 2013 Spring, but since then, he has been the definition of consistent for Cloud 9, sporting a top 10 KDA in 7 of his 9 LCS splits. As the only remaining original C9 member and the longest tenured player in the NA LCS with one team, Sneaky has made a name for himself in games that matter the most. He has 213 career playoff kills and 124 kills from the regional gauntlet alone.

2. WildTurtle – 1602 Kills
WildTurtle has often been criticized for his over aggressive playstyle and positioning, but there’s no doubting him when it comes to racking up kills. WildTurtle has led the NA LCS in Kills per game on 3 separate occasions and has been in the top 3 for 5 of the 10 LCS splits. 2017 summer marked the first time in LCS history that WildTurtle didn’t make playoffs. The man who replaced season 2 MVP Chaox in 2013 Spring has become one of the most prolific carries in LCS history.

1. Bjergsen – 1737 Kills

The third current or ex member of TSM on this list, Bjergsen came bursting onto the scene and racked up 156 kills in his first 23 games in the LCS, including a penta kill with a cameo by Deficio. Four years after his switch over to North America Bjergsen is firmly cemented as the GOAT in the NA LCS, collecting 4 MVP awards, no other player in the league has more than one. To have the most kills, it helps to win, which Bjergsen has done five times, or half of all the NA LCS splits. 384 of his kills have come during 82 career playoff games. The reason he has so many is because
Bjergsen is the only player from either the EU or the NA LCS to make playoffs in every single split to date.
