5 Longest Win Streaks in LCS History | LoL esports

Winning is never easy in competitive League of Legends. But sometimes the right make up of players find themselves playing in the ideal meta. And it creates a perfect storm that makes winning appear effortless.

Here are the 5 longest win streaks in LCS history.

5. TSM Spring 2014 – 11

2014 Spring was Bjergsen’s first ever split with TSM and he did not disappoint, winning league MVP. After dropping their opening game of the split to defending champs Cloud 9. TSM rallied off 11 straight wins including a rematch against C9. In Week 6 it was an unlikely Coast squad with 4 wins to their name that took down TSM and they needed every single auto attack to do it.

4. Immortals 2016 Spring

In 2016 Huni and Reignover left Fanatic to join the newest NA LCS squad in Immortals. Joining Pobelter, Wildturtle and Adrian, the team was expected to be an upper tier team, but they blew expectations out of the water. Blitzing the league with an aggressive, skirmish focused playstyle, Immortals won their first 12 games on the rift, finishing 2 of them in under 20 minutes. In Week 7 versus CLG IMT played their first 40 minute game and Huni and Adrian couldn’t stop Darshan’s Fiora.

3. C9 2013 Summer – 13

After cruising through the promotion tournament in 2013 Cloud 9 continued that dominance in the LCS. C9 opened their first LCS season with a perfect 5-0 super week. After going just 3-2 over the next 2 weeks, the boys in blue found their groove. In week 4 Dignitas was the first victim, before C9 went on to beat every team in the league during a 13 game win streak. 2nd place Vulcun put a beat down on the top seed in Week 9 to end the streak, but C9 still finished their inaugural split with a ridiculous 25-3 record and went a perfect 5-0 in the playoffs.

2. TSM 2016 Summer – 15

2016 Summer was Biofrost’s rookie split and the first season that featured best of series. The combination of the two gave Team Solo Mid their most dominant regular season ever. Starting in Week 4 not only did TSM win 7 straight series, but they 2-0’d every single one of those en route to a 14 game win streak. In week 8 they extended that to 15 games with a game one win over Phoenix 1. But Game 2 is where it all went wrong, thanks to Inori’s Rengar. The 3-11 P1 squad eventually won game 3 for the reverse sweep, handing TSM their first and only series loss of the split.

1. Fnatic 2015 Summer – 18

After completely rebuilding the roster around YellOwStaR in 2015 Spring, Fanatic took home the LCS title as the second seed. In 2015 Summer, Rekkles returned to the team, replacing Steeelback and Fanatic completely destroyed the competition.
Becoming the first team in LCS history to go undefeated in the regular season with a perfect 18-0 record. All five members were named to the All-Pro team. Following a 3-0 sweep of the Unicorns of Love in the semi-finals Fanatic finally dropped a game to Origen in the opening match of the finals. Ending their undefeated run at 21 games. Fnatic would go on to win the series in 5 games, capturing their second straight LCS title, both EU squads advanced to the semi finals at Worlds 2015.
