Python-esque Adventure Game The Procession to Calvary is Out Now on Android

The Procession to Calvary, the adventure game with echoes of Terry Gilliam’s distinctive Monty Python animations, is out now on Android.

Developed by Joe Richardson, the game sees you hunting down the tyrant Heavenly Peter following the conclusion of the holy war. That means pilfering from pirates and conspiring with cardinals, according to the Google Play Store description.

It also means navigating a world made up of paintings by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt, against the musical backdrop of works by Handel, Bach, and Vivaldi.

You’ll also be able to murder people in order to skip difficult puzzles, but Richardson warns that this behaviour carries consequences.

The Procession to Calvary is a solid point and click adventure game with a unique aesthetic in the world of mobile gaming (clearly it’s not unique in the world of TV and film, where Monty Python got there first.)

You can download The Procession to Calvary for $4.49 right now on the Google Play Store.
