Guns of Glory is Celebrating its 3rd Birthday in Style with a $35k Prize Fund Event

Guns of Glory is one of the most successful mobile strategy games of the last five years, and it’s not hard to see why. This stylish, Musketeer-themed multiplayer epic isn’t quite like anything else on the market.

For a start, it’s not filled with dragons and orcs, like every other mobile MMO seems to be. Instead, it’s set in a real historical period, just before the industrial revolution, when swords were sharp, guns were basic, and hats were magnificent.

The game sees you assembling an army of Musketeers, training them up, forming alliances, and carrying out daring raids. There’s a generous helping of resource-management in there too.

And if you’re concerned about the appeal of a purely historical setting, don’t be. Guns of Glory has a neat steampunk aesthetic, with airships, alchemy, and all that good stuff.

Guns of Glory has done phenomenally well in its three short years, racking up 80 million downloads and almost 90 number one spots on Google Play and the App Store.

To celebrate the game’s third anniversary, developer FunPlus is holding a series of in-game events as well as elevating one lucky superfan to godlike status within the Guns of Glory community.

The Glory Ambassador contest, which started on September 3rd and runs until September 18th, will see the winner pocketing the vast sum of $20,000 and becoming the game’s official Glory Ambassador.

That means working with FunPlus and the community, serving as a vital bridge between the fans and the developers.

There are prizes for the runners up, too. Second place gets $10,000, third gets $5,000, and a further 20 nominees each get a huge in-game package of goodies.

Entering the Glory Ambassador contest involves three separate submissions, including a video, a picture, and a review. For more information, just head to the Guns of Glory Facebook page and check out the posts on there.

May the best superfan win!

Guns of Glory is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
