Update: The Culling Games are currently shelved as of the latest update in Type Soul. This information is for reference only. We’ll update this is they’re reintroduced at a later date, but there doesn’t seem to be an immediate plan to do so.

What Are The Culling Games?

In this game mode, Factions go up against each other to earn points for their team. You’re on a timer, and once the timer ends, the Faction that has accumulated the most points will come out victorious.

Although it’s more of a Faction vs Faction game mode, you can also attack other players on your team. There isn’t much point to this, so unless you want to ragebait, I suggest sticking to targeting other Factions.

Many players are complaining that this game mode is unfair, which makes sense! The match will start even if the Factions aren’t on the same numbers. So, for example, Soul Reapers have 6 players while Arrancars only have 4, and Quincies may just have 2.

Any Rewards?

Although you can get rewards, it isn’t very clear what you get or the drop rate. Many players are reporting that, as well as the games being unfair, items won’t drop when you win.
