19 Jun eSport Ubisoft adds Predator as Rainbow Six Esports sponsor June 19, 2019 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Ubisoft has appointed Acer‘s Predator brand as the official PC and monitor sponsor of the upcoming Rainbow Six Pro League. The deal also covers the forthcoming Majors and involves co-branding and co-promotion activities from the time of writing until November 2020. Partnering with such a key esports and technology expert reinforces our confidence in the success, current and future, of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six esports as it keeps on growing and maturing.” Acer will provide Predator hardware for players to compete on, starting with the tenth season of the league and the newly-announced Six Major Raleigh. Desktops, laptops, and monitors will be utilised during both warm-ups and official matches. Vincent Lin, Associate Vice President of Product Marketing and Planning at Acer Inc. added: “Joining forces with Ubisoft adds an exciting new chapter in Acer’s initiative to promote and expand esports worldwide. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six titles are legendary and we are thrilled to bring players to their competitive peak with Predator performance gaming PCs and monitors.” Ubisoft announced that it had revised its revenue-sharing pilot program in March. From now until May 2020, up to 16 teams will be supported in the second phase of the program by receiving 30 percent of the net revenue generated by branded in-game items.
