Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has finally entered open beta in Australia and New Zealand, bringing the Pokémon GO-like experience closer to release.
If you haven’t heard of this yet, it’s a location-based AR game by the makers of Pokémon GO.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite tasks you with seeking out Foundables in the real world
You’ll explore the real world seeking Foundables, which is basically magical stuff that shouldn’t be there.
As a member of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force, you have to work alongside your fellow witches and wizards – other real players out in the world – to keep Muggles safe.
This all plays out on a map of your actual nearby location, and you can use AR to seek out nearby Foundables.
If you live in Australia or New Zealand, you can check out Harry Potter: Wizards Unite right now on Google Play.
