Hearthstone Is Dropping Untold Stories through Azeroth’s Most Wanted Class Sets

Hearthstone is digging into something unusual with its new Azeroth’s Most Wanted Class Sets. You’ll be looking into its world of criminals, schemers, traitors and general troublemakers (which is quite an impressive list, to be honest!).

Here’s who’s making it to the Hearthstone Azeroth’s Most Wanted Class Sets

The Escape from Violet Hold Class Set: Azeroth’s Most Wanted acts as a prequel to Escape from Violet Hold. It looks back at how four of Azeroth’s most infamous criminals ended up getting caught and thrown into Dalaran’s maximum-security prison.

The new Class Sets are built around Priest, Rogue, Warlock and Warrior. There are seven cards for each class, with one Legendary, two Epics, two Rares and two Commons. Grabbing all four in a bundle also gets you a bonus Epic Neutral card.

The Rogue set finally brings Mathias Shaw into Hearthstone for the first time. The leader of SI:7 and his network of spies infiltrated the Defias Brotherhood while hunting down Vanessa VanCleef. Shaw’s ability revolves around Stealth, reducing the cost of a random card in your hand whenever a Stealthed Minion attacks.

Then there’s Kazakus for Warlock. The Gadgetzan gang leader double-crossed Aya Blackpaw during a heist, arranged for her to take the blame and then rigged the trial against her. The Warlock cards also introduce Imp-formants that can be slipped into the opponent’s deck.

The Priest set goes in a much creepier direction with Raith Van Geist, the famous ghost hunter who tracked Azalina Soulthief through a haunted mansion in the Witchwood. His Legendary gets the dragon border and has a Battlecry that resurrects any minions that were Reborn during the match.

Warrior gets Captain Crowley, although the story behind the set is really about Darius Crowley and his long-running attempt to bring Lord Godfrey to justice. Captain Crowley’s Legendary gives Cannoneers an extra shot, while also summoning two 1/1 versions of them when played.
