08 Oct Mobile Gaming How To Find The Rolling Giant In Unseen Liminality (And Survive) October 8, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Unseen Liminality might be one of the better attempts at recreating the vibe of The Backrooms on Roblox. We’ve covered it in the past, but this week we wanted to talk about one of the game’s most elusive entities. The Rolling Giant in Unseen Liminality is hard to find, between its out of the way location, and its low spawn rate. If you’re not sure how to find this thing, we can understand why. Fortunately, we’re here to assist you. How To Find The Rolling Giant In Unseen Liminality (And Survive) What Is The Rolling Giant? The Rolling Giant is the… antagonist, I guess, of the Kane Pixels series, The Oldest View. It’s a carnival mascot once made to represent Julian Reverchon, renowned botanist. The giant was displayed in the Valley View mall, and appeared to still be there during its demolition. In The Oldest View, the giant takes on a life of its own, rolling around this memory of the mall on its wheels and being supremely creepy about it. Unseen Liminality has recreated The Oldest View, and with it, The Rolling Giant. Wonderful. How To Find The Rolling Giant Area (Dead Mall) To get a look at this monster of memory (if you know, you know) for yourself, you need to find the Dead Mall area in the game. Which, given the massive maps that Unseen Liminality have introduced, is no easy feat. To get there you need to go to the Cap’n Clark’s area and through the gap in the back of the store. (There is a convoluted way around, but this is the quickest way.) This does mean avoiding Pirate Clark, who usually patrols around this area, and is very aggressive. (Keep in mind, Pirate Clark can break doors as of a recent update, so don’t try to trap him.) Turn left at the end of a corridor with ship’s wheels on the wall. Then, when you see it, turn right into a room full of signs that read ‘Everything Must Go’. in that room you should find a door with a mannequin half sunk into the wall next to it. Go through this, then through the door at the back of the area that looks like a mall front desk. This should open to a long, concrete stairway, which will be familiar if you’ve watched the series. Follow this down and you’ll hit the Dead Mall. Where’s The Giant? You may make it to the Dead Mall and find no giant there, in fact it’s pretty likely. The Giant has a pretty limited spawn rate, with only a chance to spawn every 30 minutes. The devs might tweak the spawn rate in the future, but right now the mall is pretty peaceful most of the time. Best Way To Meet The Rolling Giant The low spawn rate might mean the encounter is fairly rare, but it’s less of a problem once you have made it to Dead Mall the first time. Once you’ve entered the doors once, you should be able to access it through the teleporter and go straight there. We’d suggest checking in around the half hour mark a few times until you get it. Surviving The Rolling Giant The Rolling Giant is a bit of a weird one in terms of his AI, as he doesn’t appear hostile initially, but appears to turn aggressive without much warning. There appear to be two ‘modes’ for the giant. Passive (Following) In this mode, the Giant appears non-hostile, and stands still when a player is looking at it. When a player isn’t looking at it, the Giant will roll slowly towards them, stopping if looked at. Active (Attacking) On a certain trigger, possibly being observer a certain amount, the Giant will switch to a far more aggressive mode, where it will actively chase players whether they are looking or not. On making contact with a player, the Giant will instantly kill them. Easiest way to stay out of trouble is to avoid provoking the giant. The second is making use of the small doors and access corridors. The large model isn’t good with tight spaces, so hide somewhere narrow and you should be fine.
