Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is finally out on Android. The hit role-playing and life sim game is developed and published by Level-5. First launched on PC and consoles in May 2025, the game is a direct sequel to the original Fantasy Life game, which was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2012.

The mobile version of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time comes with cross-play and cross-save, which is part of the 2.2.0 update. Level-5, which is also known for its hit Professor Layton trilogy, has also added some exclusive costumes for the mobile launch.

Players can claim two new packs for free from the Treasure Chest in the Eternia Village Guild Office. The first one is True Gentleman’s Costume Pack (inspired by Professor Layton). The other is Jibanyan Costume Pack (inspired by Yo-kai Watch).

The story starts with your character joining an archaeological expedition alongside Edward and his team. They’re guided toward a mysterious island with the remains of an ancient world. There’s time travel as well, since you move between the island as it exists in the present day and its golden age 1,000 years ago.

The game focuses on everyday activities and has a job system with 14 different Lives. A Life is basically your chosen profession, and you can swap between Lives whenever you want. Gathering Lives let you collect ingredients and materials, while Crafting Lives are there for making things like weapons and meals. Meanwhile, Combat Lives are obviously where you go when you’d rather hit monsters than pick flowers.

You gather resources with your different Lives and use them to bring the ruined island back to life. You can put down houses and other objects, and reshape the landscape. The game also lets you make your own rivers and roads, expand your home, move furniture around and customize your interiors.
