Some progression is vertical, while some is a trade-off. That’s what Soul Vows are all about. In this guide we endeavour to explain the Type Soul Vow Of Luck, how it works, and how to get hold of it if you think it’s worth it.

You can play Type Soul on Roblox. If you’d like to find out about the latest changes to the game, take a look at our Type Soul update guide.

Update: Vow Of Luck was removed from the game with the new update. The information below is archived.

What Is The Vow Of Luck?

The Vow Of Luck is a Soul Vow inspired by Kinji Hikari from Jujutsu Kaizen. Like Hikari’s Idle Death Gamble, it is a chance-based Vow that can grant a fighter a buff, or a nerf depending on if they ‘win’ or ‘lose’ the roll.

On reaching a certain threshold of damage, one of two things can happen:

  • Win – A hit gets a 5% damage boost.
  • Lose – Your Reiatsu takes a major hit.
  • Jackpot – Scoring three Wins in a row puts you into Jackpot Mode. This will restore a ton of lost health, and give you infinite Reiatsu reseved until the Jackpot Mode song finishes.

How To Get The Vow Of Luck

You can get the Vow Of Luck through the Culling Games. This is a PVP mode that pits the different factions against each other, and currently offers some of the most impressive rewards in the game.

You access the Culling Games through the Matchmaking option on the Type Soul main menu. If you try this and you get kicked out? This probably means that the character in question is not far enough along the faction’s progression to enter these special PVP modes. So if this happens, just keep working on raising your grade and acquiring your new levels of power in the main game until you’re ready.
