Watcher of Realms Drops the Year’s First Update with Ruen Hollow and Anora

Watcher of Realms is rolling out a new update with multiple summoning events, one of which drops new hero Ruen Hollow. Developer Moonton is opening 2026 with the debut of Ruen, the return of Anora, and daily activities that reward Celestial Gifts.

Who’s Ruen Hollow in Watcher of Realms?

A skeletal crossbow user who provides damage support to allied Marksmen. His abilities apply regardless of range, allowing him to slot into a variety of team setups. His story spans days blurring into decades and centuries, his body deteriorating as he remains trapped in a cruel game beyond his control.

A summoning window opens from January 17th to January 20th, 2026, under the Special Invocation of Spirits. During this period, Ruen Hollow and another new hero, Malvira, both receive 20x drop rates. Malvira is an agent of the Nether God, who secretly observes the mortal realm.

Another event runs from January 15th to January 19th. It’s Argent Summoning, bringing back the event-exclusive hero Anora with a 20x time-limited rate-up and a guarantee within 200 summons. Anora, the Silver Seraphim’s backstory ties into the creation of a doppelgänger named Labor, who was forged by Ymiret to stand guard over her.

A third event, the Special Ancient Summoning, runs from January 18th to January 20th. It features time-limited rate-ups for Piercer Lord Iovar and Erlang Shen. Erlang Shen is depicted far from the silks and structure of the Celestial Realm, navigating a dangerous land called Tya. On the other hand, Iovar, the Forest Sentinel, is as reclusive, enigmatic, and silent as the night.

Alongside the new hero, you have access to a broad slate of activities from the Celestial Gifts event. You can take part in Daily Sign-In, Magic Paint, Scroll Exploration, Engraver’s Exhibition, Bounty Challenge, and Abyssal Derby. They let you collect free rewards and various resources.
