Sorcery Skills Guide

Skills transcend different player builds with some linking to Cursed Energy, and some connecting to the absence of it. Each Skill provides something unique and has a different obtainment method and requirement. So, let’s get into it!

Simple Domain

Simple Domains drain the entire Cursed Energy allowance of the castor. In return, they gain protection from incoming projectile attacks and potentially avoid Domain Expansions. However, a Simple Domain must be performed with precision, otherwise, the Skill has no effect, and the user is prone to damage with no pushback since they’ll be drained of Cursed Energy.

To unlock the Simple Domain Skill, speak to the Yuki NPC located in the Void area to the left of the archway when following the spawn path. In exchange for 500 Essense, she will share this Skill.

Black Flash

Black Flash is an amplified punch with surging black electricity laced into the lethal dig. Rather simply, a player will randomly unlock Black Flash sometime after reaching level 50+. They’ll know when the Skill surfaces, as a small cutscene will play out.

Landing a Black Flash deals more damage than a strong punch, knocks back enemies, and applies a small speed boost to the user who unleashed the Skill.

Reverse Cursed Technique

RCT allows a player to absorb some Cursed Energy to replenish missing limbs and perform a small self-healing. This Skill won’t activate if the castor has lost both limbs in combat, rendering them unable to fight altogether. To amplify RCT, grind Missions and obtain a Prosthetic Arm, which guarantees always having at least one limb.

To obtain the Reverse Cursed Technique, a player must first reach the level 99 cap. At this point, they won’t be able to prestige further until they’ve completed the Culling Games located in the Open World. If successful in getting an Extraction, the player gains RCT when they leave.

Heavenly Restricted – Physical Prowess

Unlike the other Skills, Heavenly Restriction discards Cursed Energy entirely and essentially wipes the existing player save. In exchange for their Cursed Energy, Heavenly Restricted applies a huge stat buff to their raw damage, agility and vitality, favouring superhuman strength over tricks and abilities.

Becoming Heavenly Restricted requires being Grade 2+, and obtaining a True War Remnant item. The player should then take a trip to the Void and use the item which slowly drains their health to 0. After respawning, they will be Heavenly Restricted with a whole new skill tree and player save.

• Flash Cut – 25 STR, 25 AGL
• Stone Barrage – 50 STR, 50 AGL
• Spiral Smash – 50 STR, 75 AGL
• Shadow Step – 100 AGL

Shrine Skills

The Shrine Cursed Technique has two additional Skills that manifest after the player absorbs a certain number of Sukuna Fingers.
