Anime Defenders Secret Units Guide

Currently, Secret units hold the top spot for the rarest units in the game. Naturally, this makes them incredibly hard to obtain but also the strongest to enlist into your team. The Secret units are typically displayed as a silhouette during Banners so you’ll have to look out for recognisable shapes to make sure you are pulling for the one you want! When summoning, Secret units have a very slim 0.01% chance of being obtained.

I’d recommend grinding for Gems by any means necessary. Playing Waves, Raids, Missions and Quests. Per 1 summon it costs 50 Gems, and 500 for every 10 Summons. Whilst there is no bundle deal, it’s more efficient to do 10 pulls each time, so be sure to save up a lot!

Sadly, due to the potential of Secret units, there is no Pity system for them either, meaning you’ll be relying solely on your luck of the draw.

Chance Taker

PLACE YOUR BETS ON HAKARI! I may be biased, but Chance Taker might be my favourite Secret unit. If my reference wasn’t enough of a hint, Chance Taker is based on Hakari from the JJK series. He also enjoys an evolution if you get your hands on a Roulette Machine, where he then becomes the Chance King!

The Gamer

The Gamer takes inspiration from Sung Jin Woo from Solo Leveling. This unit also enjoys an evolution into The Pro Gamer using the Demon Greatsword item.

Cursed Knight

Another Solo Leveling unit! Cursed Knight is based on Igris from the series and whilst he does evolve as well as our other Secret units, he doesn’t change his name. Possibly due to him being obtained from the limited banner, the Cursed Knight also offers a player skin so you can match with this unit! To evolve, you’ll need to get your hands on a Cursed Soul.
