Unveiled on April 24th, the app – titled ‘PENTA NOW’ – allows supporters to interact among each other as well as the organisation’s players. Andreas Schaetzke, Managing Director at PENTA Sports, commented on the launch in a release: “We are very delighted to finally release our brand-new app PENTA NOW. We put a lot of dedication and passion into this app to make sure we can deliver something special for our fans to allow them to learn more about PENTA and our players. I truly believe that we accomplished all this with our new app. “Of course, we also want to reward our loyal fans and I am looking forward to several cool giveaways we will host to say ‘thank you’. But my first ‘thank you’ obviously goes to Blocksport for that amazing job they have done!” RELATED: PENTA Sports finds chair partner in RECARO eGaming PENTA Sports is the fourth organisation to use Blocksport’s services to launch a mobile app, joining fellow German organisation BIG, Danish organisation Team Singularity, and Brazilian organisation FURIA. The app will also feature discounts on team merchandise and exclusive giveaways. Vladimir Liulka, CEO and Co-founder of Blocksport, added: “We are proud to have PENTA as our client. Our app builds an exclusive channel for clubs to push their fan engagement and brand awareness to the next level.” Esports Insider says: PENTA Sports joins a rapidly-expanding list of other organisations utilising Blocksport to launch a mobile app. We’re unsure on how it will be received just yet, with social media typically being the main source of interaction for many, but we’re intrigued to find out.
