06 Mar Mobile Gaming The Witch’s Forest is a Tree-based Idle RPG with a DrinkBox-esque Visual Style March 6, 2020 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment The Witch’s Forest is an idle RPG that sees you restoring a tree called the World Tree to its former glory after it was burned down in mysterious circumstances. Developed by Korean studio Toward Inc, the game has a distinctly eco-magical atmosphere. According to the backstory, the guardian witch lost her powers following the loss of the World Tree, and the forest became contaminated. A light sprite had to sacrifice itself in order to help the forest grow again. It’s best not to query the science on that. Save the World by Tapping All you need to know is that you can do your bit by tapping on the screen of your smartphone to push back the evil monsters that are threatening to overwhelm the forest. As you tap, you purify the forest, forage items, upgrade and craft equipment, and general restore order. The Witch’s Forest has an unusual premise and an endearing art style that’s reminiscent of DrinkBox titles like Guacamelee and Severed. You can download it right now for free on Google Play.
