Anime Vanguards Banner Guide – How To Get The Unit You Want

Let’s discuss what the banner is, and how to use it.

About The Banner

In the lobby, if you look above the Summoning area, you will see a large screen showcasing three Mythic units. This is the summoning banner.

The three Mythics that are on display are the units that have an increased chance of being summoned. The unit in the middle has the highest summon chance. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t summon the other Mythics during while a certain banner is active. It just tells you which ones you’re most likely to get.

The banner also resets every hour, and after that hour, the Mythics will change. If you head to the Summon area and press E, then select ‘Index’, you can see the current chances of summoning a specific unit.

Summoning Rates

Here are the chances of summoning each rarity:

• Mythic – 0.5%
• Legendary – 4%
• Epic – 20%
• Rare – 75.496%
• Secret – 0.04%
• Shiny – 1.5%

Pity System

You may have noticed two bars at the top of the Summon box. One says Legendary and the other says Mythic. This is the pity system.

The system acts like a countdown until you are guaranteed a unit of that rarity. For example, the Mythic Pity goes up to 400. This means if you summon 400 times and haven’t obtained a Mythic, you will be guaranteed one. This is the same for the Legendary Pity, though you only need to summon 50 units before you get a guaranteed one.

Secret And Shiny Units

You can only summon Secret and Shiny units if you are at level 10 or higher.

Shiny units are rarer versions of an existing unit, and some of them come with cool cosmetics you can wear. Not all units have a shiny version, so check out our Anime Vanguards Shiny Guide to see which are!
