Anime Vanguards Igros Boss Event Guide

The Igros Boss Event included in the latest update of Anime Vanguards made the obtainment for the Secret Unit Igros much simpler! Previously, this unit was only available through the third room of the Double Dungeons Legends Stages.

In the Legend Stages, he has a slim 0.75% drop rate, however, by joining the ongoing Boss Event, your odds increase to a more favourable 2% drop chance. Whilst it seems simple enough to instead join the Boss Event, this limited-time game is significantly more difficult than the existing Legend Stages.

How To Play The Igros Boss Event

To start, head over to the Song Jinwu NPC stood outside of the Raids area. He has a blue swirling portal behind him and a countdown to indicate the remaining time left for this Event. When the Boss Event triggers, your team’s current Traits become temporarily disabled (You don’t lose them, they just turn off for the duration of the Event gameplay.)

The Boss Event is designed to challenge your team build as when facing the Igros boss, you’ll face numerous obstructions. Firstly, as his health depletes, his power grows and all status effects that he inflicts become more potent. His main gimmick is a stun move after performing a war cry mid-battle, that nullifies your unit’s attacks temporarily.

To defeat him, you’ll need a decent farm unit such as the new Legendary Takadora. Alongside him, you’ll need a roster of powerful DPS units, and if you want to tackle his Stun move, the Epic rarity Sakura unit will suffice. Sakura has a passive ability that triggers during her third upgrade which wipes any status effects inflicted on allies in her radius.

Event Completion Rewards

After a hard fight, if you surface on the other side successfully, you might get your hands on some nifty loot including:

• Igros (Secret Unit) – 2% Drop chance
• Commander Tokens – Currency used in the Boss Event store
• Legendary Trophies – Used to customise your player profile with different cosmetics
• Crystals (Food) – Applies EXP to your units
• Gems (Currency) – Used to Summon more Units
• Gold (Currency) – Used to Evolve units
• EXP – Both player and unit exp

Boss Event Store

When speaking to Song Jinwu, you may notice the ‘Shop’ button at the bottom of his pop-up window. After completing Boss Events, you’ll be able to use your accumulated Commander Tokens in the Boss Event Store to exchange for hard-to-obtain items!

• Trait Rerolls – 6 Commander Tokens
• Super Stat Chips – 5 Commander Tokens
• Stat Chips – 2 Commander Tokens
• Rainbow Essence Stone – 4 Commander Tokens
