Update 4 is here, and the new portal mechanic is an exciting new way to play. There are various different portals, but the ones everyone wants are the elusive Secret Portals, which lead to the coveted secret units. So, how do you get them? Right, let’s get into it.

What Is A Secret Portal?

A Secret Portal is the rarest variety of Portal, about Mythic, Legendary, Epic and Rare. They also have the most challenging rounds for players inside. You’ll need some strong units to overcome the horde of enemies inside. The rewards make it worth it though, Secret Portals are the (literal) gateways to the newest Secret units. In fact, if you’re hosting a Secret Portal and win, you are guaranteed the corresponding Secret units outlines below.

• Secret Demon Portal – The Demon King
• Secret Cursed Kingdom Portal – Cursed Berserker Knight
• Secret Ancient Dragon Portal – Dragon Wizard

How To Get A Secret Portal

There are two ways to play a Secret Portal round. We’ve outlined them below!

• Join someone else’s Portal.
  • Portals appear in the Lobby. Some are friends-only so you need to be friends with the host to use, but others are public and you’re free to hop in. If a Secret one appears you could join to help the host out. Be aware though, you have a much smaller chance of scoring the Secret unit than the host does! Still, it might be faster.
• Win Portals.
  • You can earn basic Portals through reaching stages in Infinite mode. Once you have those, completing a Portal gives you a chance to give you a Portal of a higher rarity. This lets you work your way up to a Secret Portal.
