Type Soul Yamato Blade Guide

The Yamato Blade, likely named after Yamato from One Piece (My Goat), is a unique weapon for its versatility. Not only is this weapon obtained outside of usual means, but all races can use it.

The Yamato blade isn’t lineage-specific and offers custom buffs depending on the player who uses it (Arrancar, Quincy and Soul Reaper). The core difference between races using this blade is its crit chance, though the difference in crit hits remains unknown.

How To Get The Yamato Blade

The process of obtaining the Yamato weapon is the same for all races. To unlock it, you need to find a Dimensional Shard. The Dimensional Shard drops from Clan Wars, AFK World, or you could simply trade for one. Luckily, the Dimensional Shard doesn’t drop when defeated.

After looting a Dimensional Shard, you need to feed 50 Skill Points into the Speed Skill Tree. Once done, use the Dimensional Shard and receive your new blade. Regardless of your race, the Yamato blade becomes replaced if you reroll for a new weapon, or when popping a Blue Elixir/Blue Pill.

When in use, the Yamato blade offers M1 attacks and Combos, but the most interesting moveset comes from the Soul Reapers usage. After a successful critical hit whilst Bankai, a passive will trigger which deals consecutive slashes to your opponent and disables their Flashstep. Great for ensnaring a target to deal major blows to their HP!
