18 Jan eSport Vodafone Giants enters partnership with Nike January 18, 2020 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Spanish organisation Vodafone Giants is the first European esports brand to become a global partner of sports apparel giant Nike. To kick off the partnership, Nike is set to release a co-branded apparel collection with the organisation on January 20th. Besides co-branded apparel, it’s unknown as to what the deal comprises of though more details are expected to be disclosed soon. Just last week, Nike established a partnership with Korean organisation T1. In its deal with T1, Nike will not only provide co-branded clothing but also “cutting-edge training facilities” and training programs for its players. It has also entered multi-year deals with Chinese league LPL and Brazilian organisation FURIA. RELATED: Nike debuts team kits for League of Legends Pro League In addition to Nike and the organisation’s title sponsor of Vodafone, it’s partnered with Ozone Gaming Gear, Drift Gaming, Malaga, VS Gamers, and Only The Brave. Esports Insider says: If Nike is working harmoniously across all of its regional departments then it’s clear that it has a regional-focused plan when it comes to esports.
