A1 eSports League Season 3 rFactor 2 Qualifyer 4 Highlights

The A1 eSports League Austria goes into its third season. After my participation in the Project Cars 2 competition 1 year ago it was time for me to give another game a try.

To be honest, I really struggle with rFactor 2 as it is a completely different caliber to anything I raced before. But racing is the best practice and after my qualification via the weekly time trial I qualified myself for the weekly race.

In qualifying my lack of experience came out quite clear as I qualified on P12, the second to last position. The start of the race seemed quite promissing and by getting up to P10 I thought I might can snatch a good position but on lap 3 I got cut off the track and spun out getting a little flatspot on my tires.

Another problem was that I choose the soft tires for the race and as a consequence my leftside tires gave up quite fast leaving me in last position.

But it was a nice experience and practice for the austrian only qualifier in some weeks.
