About Malevolent Shrine

Domain Expansion is a powerful technique that guarantees a hit on your opponent, as long as they are within range.

When using Malevolent Shrine, you will perform a powerful attack that will damage anything within your radius. Luckily, the range is pretty big, meaning you don’t need to be too close to your opponent. Aside from dealing high damage, Malevolent Shrine also stuns your target, letting you get in some additional hits.

This Domain Expansion uses slashing effects called Cleave and Dismantle. These are the same two moves you get when using the Shrine Cursed Technique. Therefore, if you want to become just like Sukuna, be sure to get that CT!

How To Get Malevolent Shrine

Check out the guide I linked above for a more detailed explanation of how to get a Domain Expansion. However, I’ll quickly go over it here to give you a simple run down.

To get Malevolent Shrine (and any other expansion) you must be at level 150. You can only get to this level by winning in the Sorcery Culling Games. Without this, you won’t be able to progress past level 99.

It’s important to mention that if you have Heavenly Restriction, you can’t use a Domain Expansion (or Cursed Technique).

Once you’re at level 150, you can take a break from the action, as you need to meditate. You do this by pressing M, but be sure you’re in a safe place where you won’t be interrupted. This can take between 5 to 20 minutes to complete. After you’re feeling calmer (and have finished meditating) the next time you die, you will respawn and have a Domain Expansion.

Unfortunately, it is given at random, so there’s no guarantee you’ll get Malevolent Shrine. If that happens, visit the Mahito NPC in the Hideout and give him some Cursed Tickets to reroll.
