13 May eSport Team Vitality acquires women’s MLBB team Bigetron Era May 13, 2024 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment French organisation Team Vitality has entered Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) with the acquisition of Bigetron Era, a competitive division of Indonesian esports organisation Bigetron Esports. The team will represent Team Vitality at the 2024 MLBB Women’s Invitational, taking place at the Esports World Cup starting in June. The roster is widely considered one of the best women’s teams in MLBB. It has won more than 20 trophies in the last three years, including back-to-back Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Championship titles, a gold medal for Indonesia at the SEA Games 2023 and most recently a win at the WSL Season 8 which secured their spot at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. Financial figures have not been provided by Team Vitality and Bigetron Esports. The 2024 MLBB Women’s Invitational is the only women’s scene to be represented at the Esports World Cup 2024. The event is regarded as of one the biggest women’s-only tournaments in esports with last year’s edition recording 179,024 peak viewers. The expansion will also see Team Vitality participate in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) ecosystem through its tier-two competition. Earlier this year, the game’s publisher, Moonton, unveiled that MDL Indonesia Season 10 would feature two spots for all-female teams. As Bigetron Era, Team Vitality’s roster earned to spot by winning WSL Season 8 Founded in 2013, Team Vitality are no stranger to the women’s esports scene. This is the second women’s team that the organisation is boasting with the first being Rising Bees in League of Legends. The organisation also has teams in a variety of titles including CS2, VALORANT and recently Rennsport.
