Bad North, the visually sublime “real time tactics roguelike” from developer Raw Fury, is currently half price on Google Play. You can pick it up for $2.49.

The aim in Bad North is to repel the Viking invaders who are attacking your tiny island. The game may look adorable, but it’s brutally unforgiving, with demanding, fast-paced gameplay and permadeath. 

Bad North, which came to Switch before arriving on mobile last year, sees you recruiting soldiers, training them up from raw recruits into hardened battle veterans, and then watching them suddenly die forever in a moment of carelessness.
