BioShock: The Collection Might Be Coming To Switch

It looks like BioShock: The Collection–which brings together BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite–might be coming to the Switch. Lootpots discovered that the game has been rated by the Taiwanese games rating board. Appearing on a ratings board is usually a good indicator that a game is on its way.

BioShock: The Collection, which released for PS4 and Xbox One in 2016, remastered the three games and was divided between two Blu-Ray discs. Since a Switch release has not been formally announced, there’s no indication of whether the Switch release will be closer to the original Xbox 360/PS3 versions of these games.

The individual games within the Collection has also been rated, which could potentially mean that they’ll be released separately as well. BioShock 2 and Infinite came with all of their previously-released DLC when they were made available on PS4 and Xbox One.

The original BioShock has gone portable before, with an iOS version releasing in 2015 (and eventually disappearing from the App Store), and a Vita spin-off tactics game being planned and cancelled. This version, if it eventuates, will be the first time BioShock has appeared on a Nintendo console.

There’s also a new BioShock game in development right now at the newly created studio Cloud Chamber. It’s still early in development, though, and not much is known about it yet.
