06 Aug Mobile Gaming Open-World Adventure Caravan SandWitch Launches on Android August 6, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Post-apocalypse games are usually about fighting mutants, scavenging for ammo, and carrying 300 pounds of junk in your backpack. But Caravan SandWitch goes in the complete opposite direction. Out now on mobile, the game lets you just slow down, explore, meet people, and figure out what happened to your missing sister. Caravan SandWitch is an adventure game from developer Studio Plane Toast. It’s published by Dear Villagers, the publishing branch of Plug In Digital, which is based in Montpellier, France. The game first launched for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in September 2024. Take your Caravan SandWitch and hit the road You play as Sauge, who’s travelling across the planet Cigalo in search of her missing sister, Garance. Every step of the journey slowly uncovers more of the mystery surrounding her disappearance. There is no combat, no death, no timers. It’s just you, your van, and a huge world to explore however you want. As usual, like in other post-apocalyptic games, Cigalo used to be a lush green planet. But human activity and environmental over-exploitation eventually turned it into a massive desert. Most people abandoned it and moved on to another planet, but not everyone left. The humans who stayed behind are still trying to make the best of things. They have the company of the Reinetos, an ancient aboriginal species, the robots left behind after the planet’s exploitation, and the mysterious SandWitch. Your journey takes you across a sci-fi world that has a Provence-inspired look. You’ll be driving your van or exploring on foot depending on where you’re headed. As you travel, you’ll help different communities with their problems, take on various tasks, and meet new people. Caravan SandWitch lets you upgrade your van, unlocking access to new paths, hidden areas, and ancient ruins that weren’t reachable before. So, there’s navigating rough terrain, uncovering old ruins, solving puzzles, talking to characters, and customizing your van. Caravan SandWitch is now available on the Google Play Store.
