18 Feb Mobile Gaming Kairosoft Launches New Title Skyship Quest Story on Android February 18, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Japanese game studio Kairosoft has added another management sim to its Android catalogue. It’s Skyship Quest Story, an airship simulation RPG. The studio’s previous titles include Game Dev Story, Mega Mall Story, High Sea Saga DX, Ninja Village and Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story. Skyship Quest Story shifts the studio’s focus from oceans and towns to a small island floating high above the clouds The game opens on a modest floating island, where you board a newly built airship and start preparing it for travel. Initially, you get practical additions such as sleeping quarters for crew members, storage barrels, and a lounge. Over time, the modest vessel can evolve with hot springs, a ballroom, and other amenities. All of them turn long voyages across the sea of clouds into a more comfortable experience. From there, the loop expands. You accept requests from the Airship Guild and venture beyond thick cloud cover to investigate distant floating islands. They range from bustling tourist destinations to monster-filled dungeons. Meanwhile, residents and travellers offer requests. And you can also develop vacant land, construct shops, and punish monsters to stabilise local life. Completing such objectives earns rewards, builds reputation, and gradually spreads word of the Airship Guild’s growing success. As fame increases, new allies begin to arrive, volunteering their services with confidence. Crew members can change jobs into various professions, which alters their stats, special abilities, and weapon preferences. Take a look at the game below. Will you try it? If you’ve played Kairosoft’s other games, the structure of Skyship Quest Story will feel familiar. You might even feel that the game carries over mechanics from High Sea Saga, but in a new aerial setting. It also has some Beastie Bay elements. Skyship Quest Story is now available on the Google Play Store for $6.99. Also, read our scoop on Dark, Celtic-Inspired Pixel RPG Drova: Forsaken Kin on Android.
