In 2024, China officially joined the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) with its own dedicated league. At the end of 2023, VALORANT developer Riot Games announced the 10 partner teams that would compete in the inaugural VCT China season alongside promoted team Dragon Ranger Gaming.

Despite China being the last of the fourth major international leagues — joining the AmericasEMEA and Pacific — the region has already made an impact on the international stage by claiming the VALORANT Champions 2024 trophy.

To find more about China’s league ahead of the 2025 season, Esports Insider has created a description of the 10 announced VCT China partner teams, as well as promoted teams Dragon Ranger Gaming and XLG Esports.

Most of the partner organisations are well-known to Western viewers due to their connections within League of Legends, Counter-Strike and other games, however, some are relatively unknown outside of China.
