As reported by GosuGamers, both qualifiers had to recover after losing the opening game of their series. LGD overturned a heavy first-game defeat to GamerLegion, while 1W recovered against OG to claim the final playoff place.

GamerLegion took game one 40-10 shortly before the hour mark, with Yuma recording 10 kills and 11 assists and RCY adding 10 kills and 22 assists. LGD responded in game two with a 28-1 win in 35 minutes: SumaiL led the team with eight kills, while Wits finished with seven.

The decider stayed close until a late teamfight swung the series. LGD closed out the 45-minute game, with Wits leading the way on Nature’s Prophet with 11 kills and nine assists.

OG opened its series against 1W with a 30-20 win in 43 minutes. OneJey posted nine kills and 13 assists, but 1W answered with a 24-minute victory in game two, led by Pure and bzm, who each recorded 10 kills.

1W settled the contest in game three, winning 27-4 in 28 minutes. 33 led the decisive map with 12 kills and 15 assists. OG’s elimination meant Topson missed the playoffs; the source’s match account does not provide details about his individual performance.

Six teams advance to the playoffs

The Last Chance stage brought together the four Group Stage second seeds for the tournament’s final two playoff berths. Its winners advanced to the upper-bracket quarterfinals, while its losers were eliminated. PARIVISION and Team Spirit, meanwhile, won their Seeding Matches and secured places in the upper-bracket semifinals.

Upper-bracket semifinals PARIVISION, Team Spirit
Upper-bracket quarterfinals Team Yandex, Aurora Gaming, LGD Gaming, 1W Team

The playoff stage uses double elimination, with matches played as best-of-threes except for the best-of-five grand final. That format gives the four quarterfinalists a route forward after an opening loss, while the two seeding-match winners begin one round later.

Opening matches set for Malta

The playoffs are scheduled for BLAST Arena Studios in Malta from 8 to 11 October. Team Yandex will face LGD Gaming and Aurora Gaming will meet 1W Team in the upper-bracket quarterfinals.

PARIVISION will play the winner of Yandex versus LGD in the semifinals, while Team Spirit will face the winner of Aurora versus 1W. The six-team bracket is now set, with the Last Chance stage determining both the remaining contenders and their first playoff opponents.
