War Robots Drops Simulation Errors Where You Can Battle Across Its Alternate Worlds

War Robots is bringing a full digital nightmare mode with its next update, the Simulation Errors event. MY.GAMES announced the new event for the tactical PvP shooter developed by Pixonic. It’s all about Icarus Technologies messing around with virtual reality until alternate realities start going completely off the rails.

Commanders are dealing with simulation glitches, alternate worlds, and a whole lot of autonomous turrets while trying to figure out what’s actually real. There are also valuable event rewards up for grabs, with daily rewards available through the Event Hub and the News section.

The biggest new addition is Dedopali, an Icarus flagship robot and the first War Robots machine with the Engineer specialization. It’s designed around mid-range zone control and lets its turrets do a ridiculous amount of the work.

Dedopali can deploy up to three autonomous turrets at once using a charge-and-release system, with the distance of the swarm depending on how long you hold the ability. You can also launch those turrets into the air so they can attack enemies behind cover or from weird angles they probably weren’t expecting.

The update also adds the Prena tactical drone, which is specifically made for Icarus bug frames and Dedopali. Prena automatically cleanses Lockdown and Root effects when entering Invisibility, while giving pod damage a massive boost.

It also provides a damage bonus against targets suspended in Gravity Lift. There’s a dedicated pilot for Dedopali as well, and that pilot boosts swarm missile damage even further while applying Blind to targets.

Then there’s the Ultimate stuff. DSC is bringing back the classic aggressive brawler Shell with an Ultimate overhaul. Ultimate Shell gets increased base durability and a higher top speed. Meanwhile, Ultimate Glacier and Ultimate Rime rockets round out the build with larger area-of-effect damage and faster flight speeds.
