THQ Nordic Mobile has launched the game in collaboration with Disney & Pixar Games, Purple Lamp, and Snapshot Games. The game was originally released on consoles and PC as a faithful remake of the critically acclaimed classic. The remake was envisioned by Warren Spector and reimagined by Purple Lamp, with state-of-the-art visuals and improved controls. Mickey also has some newer movement abilities, including dash, ground pound, and sprinting, giving him more ways to get around the levels. It’s the first time this version of Wasteland is on mobile Wasteland is the weird, colourful place filled with forgotten Disney characters and ruled by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. It’s where Mickey Mouse accidentally ends up and gets his magic brush. You explore different parts of Wasteland, collect virtual Disney pins, deal with creative challenges, and find secrets. You can use paint to restore things and create new possibilities, while thinner lets you erase or alter parts of the environment. The choices you make with those two tools can affect the story and ultimately change what happens to Wasteland. There are multiple endings in the game. You’ll be jumping through classic platforming levels inspired by animated films and shorts. And Oswald is a pretty big deal in Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, as he was Walt Disney’s first creation. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below. As a full 3D platformer remake of the 2010 Nintendo Wii classic, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is actually more beautiful than the original. Epic Mickey, the original, was quite a hit, too, and even Rebrushed performed really well when it was first released on PC and consoles in 2024. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is available now through the Google Play Store for $15.99. Also, read our other scoop on Generational Mobile Life Simulator Everlife 2 on Android.
