Dark Tactical Roguelite Order Automatica Launches on Mobile

Order Automatica is a dark tactical roguelite with automated battles. The twist is that the battle is decided before it even starts. You get a small 3×3 ritual grid to work with, and every little decision you make on it can completely change how an encounter plays out.

You’re positioning units, messing around with tiles, and trying to prepare yourself for increasingly brutal fights against demonic enemies. The battles happen automatically, but that doesn’t mean you can let the game do everything. Quite the opposite, really.

Your planning is the entire game

Positioning, timing, merging units, tile effects, relic combinations and curses all feed into the builds you’re putting together. And eventually you can stumble into some absolutely ridiculous synergies.

You’re constantly experimenting with different builds. The board is a tiny 3×3 space, but still there’s a stupid amount you can do with it. Order Automatica is basically chess with demons, as per the developers.

There are unit unlocks and some light meta progression as well, although it apparently doesn’t go overboard with that stuff. Your actual choices of units and items still matter way more. There are also tons of difficulty modes.

For instance, there’s the challenge mode. It lets you experiment with new setups and gives you the enemy roster, too. So, it makes it easier to come up with specific things to try. Actually, even outside this mode, it’s pretty easy to start getting useful synergies no matter what units you get.

The numbers in Order Automatica can get wildly out of control

That’s if you can find the right engines and builds to make that happen. RNG plays a pretty big role too, although there are ways to fight back against the randomness. Overall, it genuinely seems like a fun little auto-battler.
