08 Sep Mobile Gaming Bendy in Nightmare Run Returns as Bendy’s Nightmare Run on Mobile September 8, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Bendy in Nightmare Run, the mobile game that launched in 2018, is back on Android as Bendy’s Nightmare Run. It’s a mobile spin-off of the popular horror game franchise Bendy and the Ink Machine. So, what changed along with the name? Let’s find out! An endless runner Well, Bendy’s Nightmare Run actually brings most of the original’s gameplay back. Among the new additions is the Nightmare Mode. The mode unlocks for those who finish all five levels in an episode. You keep running and take on the boss again and again, trying to push your score higher until the nightmare finally consumes you! Set in the Bendy universe, you run as Bendy, Boris, or Alice. Run away from increasingly difficult cartoon bosses, avoid enemies and obstacles, grab collectibles, weapons and powerups, and stay alive long enough to turn around and beat what’s chasing you. There are four themed episodes. You move left and right by swiping, swipe up to jump or double jump, and swipe down to slam onto enemies. As you play, you’ll collect Bacon Soup and XP. Those rewards can unlock characters, levels, weapons, costumes, and powerful upgrades. The four episodes all have their own environments and bosses. Bendy in Treasure Trouble takes things to sandy islands, wooden docks, pirate ships, and the tropics, where Chester the treasure chest is chasing you around. Then there’s Bendy in Death and Taxis, where you’ll be racing through city streets and tunnels. Here, you try to escape Gaskette, a taxi cab with a death wish. Bendy in Soup Gone Bad sends you into a smelly trash dump. There, Canoodle, who comes equipped with sharp edges, is trying to cut you down to size. And Bendy in Dewey Decimated takes place in a library. You’ll be crashing through the place, running along bookshelves and across tabletops while the inky Dewey tries to spear you with his pointy pen. On that note, take a look at Bendy’s Nightmare Run below. Did you know why Bendy’s Nightmare Run returned? Because the first game was a hit, so the devs needed to bring it back. It was there on the mobile stores for roughly 3 years. In 2018, it was created through a collaboration between Joey Drew Studios, KindlyBeast, and Phatmojo. That collaboration is where the trouble started. Phatmojo later filed a lawsuit against Joey Drew Studios. Although the lawsuit was settled, and Phatmojo later went out of business. Meanwhile, Bendy in Nightmare Run was pulled from mobile stores due to the studio disputes as well as digital storefront compliance standards. But now it’s back, with Joey Drew Studios handling the publishing. So, check out Bendy’s Nightmare Run on the Google Play Store.
