That’s the setup in Arrows & Cats: Rescue Puzzle. You’re dropped into a sleepy little cat village where kittens have gotten trapped in tangled vines. You have to untangle everything by tapping arrows in the right order.

There are no countdowns, no penalties, and no reason to panic if you mess something up. If you get stuck, there’s a hint available. The arrow puzzles start off pretty gently and then turn into more like little brain teasers. You just have to figure out which arrows need to be cleared first so you can cut through the vines and rescue whatever poor cat is stuck in the mess.

And obviously, the actual reward for doing all this is cats. Every puzzle you complete frees another cat that you can collect, with different breeds and personalities showing up as you keep rescuing them. There are Cheese Tabbies, dapper Tuxedos, elegant Russian Blues, and plenty of others.

The village also grows along with your collection. Every rescue earns you Hearts, and you can trade those Hearts for things like cosy furniture, fountains, and slides. You can decorate and expand the place, turning what starts as an empty field into your own little cat-filled town.
