Mayor 4000 Is A Nostalgic Isometric City Builder Without The Nonsense

Do you have a passion for planning? Do you want to design a town of your own and try to make everything run smoothly? Do you have nostalgia for the older city sim games? Today might be your day, because Mayor 4000 has dropped on mobile.

What’s It About?

So what is Mayor 4000? Well, it’s an isometric view city builder, much like another famous city builder with a dedicated community. (And while said famous city builder does have a mobile entry, it’s not really the same as the old school titles.)

You’ll be taking charge of every aspect of the city to create your ideal, beautifully efficient metropolis filled with happy citizens who have all their needs met. Or you could create some horrific dystopian nightmare, we’re here to report on the game, not tell you what to do.

You’ll need to not only build places for people to live, but make sure they have access to important infrastructure. Fire stations, hospitals, that kind of thing. You’ll need to make sure everyone has power and water. You’ll need to keep an eye on your city’s finances and balance the books. When things turn dangerous and disasters strike, you’ll need to handle the fallout and get things running again.

No Annoying Hold-Ups

Mayor 4000 is also a mobile city builder without all the things that make a lot of mobile city builders kind of insufferable. You know, like timers and energy bars that exist to stop you from playing unless you’re willing to part with real money. Mayor 4000 proudly does not include that kind of frustrating mechanic.

It’s also offline friendly, so you won’t be locked out whenever you’re on a train and it crosses a tunnel.

While you will run into in-app purchases, you won’t be locked out of advancing. If you want to play, then you can play.

Does this sound like your sort of game? Well, you can get hold of it now on Android via Google Play, or iOS on the App Store. You can also check out the trailer on the game’s official YouTube Channel.
