Deck-Building Auto-Battler CookieRun: Crumble Launches on Android

Devsisters, the South Korean studio behind the CookieRun series, has launched CookieRun: Crumble. It’s the latest addition to their CookieRun series. It’s a deck-building auto-battler, a slightly different genre than the last few games in the series.

It’s set in the Dessert World as part of the Crumble Mercenary Guild. This group takes on pretty much anything they can get paid for, from simple errands to much bigger fights happening across the kingdom.

They’re constantly trying to scrape together enough bounty money to survive, but their biggest problem is the Implant Order. It’s a villainous faction digging up Crystals all over the kingdom to fund whatever mysterious plans they’ve got going on.

CookieRun: Crumble doesn’t start with a giant army

Your first three members are Dark Cherry Cookie, Grapevine Cookie, and Berry Yogurt Cookie. You slowly build things up until you can command teams of up to 12 Cookies. Before every battle, you decide who’s coming along. Cookie roles, individual skills, Pets, and even how well the team works together all affect how your lineup performs.

Then, there’s the Pet system. Pets can give Companion Effects that can completely change how a fight plays out, while Ownership Effects permanently boost your stats. On that note, take a look at CookieRun: Crumble below.

CookieRun: Crumble introduces alternate dimensional versions of familiar faces, including Oven Wanderer Cookie, Brightseeker Cookie, and Readyberry Cookie.

Meanwhile, the Crumble Dungeon lets you throw every Cookie you’ve collected into one huge battle against the Holy Golden Drop. Daily Dungeons give you resources for growing your Cookies and making your teams stronger.

Plaque Tower has you climbing floor after floor, and some stages have special gimmicks that force you to rethink your deck. Then there’s Arena, where you build your strongest Cookie combinations, fight other players, climb the rankings, and earn rewards along the way.
