What Can We Expect From The REDMAGIC 11s Pro?

The 11s Pro is the newest from the venerable stable of gaming phones that is the REDMAGIC series. It’s been a favourite of phone gamers, especially the emulation community, for a long while, and the new model is here to push the boat out even further. Here’s a brief rundown of the specs. 

Processing Power

The 11S is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version. In simpler terms, this means measurably better performance, with a 19% CPU, 24% GPU, and 39% NPU performance boost over the previous model, the 10S Pro. The phone comes with a 4.74GHz CPU, and features like the RedCore R4 gaming chip for better visuals, and the Energy CUBE 3.0 intelligent scheduling for stable and battery charge-friendly gaming. 

Cooling

The 11S has the upgraded AquaCore Cooling System. It combines a 24,000 RPM Turbo Fan, a 13,116mm² vapor chamber, and AI server-grade fluorinated liquid cooling system to keep all the components frosty under stress.

Charging And Battery

The new model comes with a 7,500mAh battery, and comes with up to 80W wireless charging, with support for wired and wireless reverse charting. Power optimization also keeps

Display

The new phone has a 2688×1216 high resolution display, with a 144Hz refresh rate. While there’s definitely a lot of thought gone into the visual fidelity, there’s also been some measures to assist in your wellbeing. 2,592Hz PWM dimming and DC dimming to avoid flashbanging yourself, and it comes with a SGS & TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

Aesthetics

The Pro series tend to go a bit harder on the aesthetic side vs the more reserved looks of the Air models, and the 11S does invest into this, with dynamic RGB lighting, and a transparent rear panel that lets you peek into the cooling system, like a gaming PC. 

Camera

The 11S comes with three cameras. One 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 16MP front camera.
