What’s the Password? Is a Minimalistic Puzzle Game, Launching on Android Soon

A new puzzle game is coming at the end of May. What’s the Password? is the next project from TrampolineTales, which is just solo developer Dan DiIorio. The game is headed to Android, iOS, and PC via Steam and Itch on the same day.

So, What’s the Password?

The game revolves around decoding 4-digit passwords. The setup is intentionally minimalistic, both in presentation and structure. But it includes more than 100 puzzles.

The developers even describe the puzzles as the sort that make players go aha. The solutions are randomised too. There are also optional hints for the harder puzzles.

Visually, the game sticks to black and white graphics, with the idea being that they’re easy on the eyes instead of cluttering the screen. There are achievements included as well.

Language support includes 18 languages. There’s English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Thai, Arabic, and more.

Basically, the game leans very heavily into the idea that players should get pure puzzle-solving without extra filler attached to it. There’s no fluff or padding, and there are multiple moments when you’ll be laughing out loud repeatedly.

No giant RPG systems, no crafting trees, no 400-hour roadmap. Just passwords and maybe some mental damage that comes from trying to decode them for two straight hours.

What’s the Password? is launching on May 28th, 2026, across multiple platforms. On the Google Play Store, it’s priced at $4.99. You can pre-register for the game now.
