Shattered Dimension Is the Latest Puzzle Game from the Developers of Isoland Series

Cotton Game, the Chinese developer of hits like Isoland and Mr. Pumpkin Adventure, has dropped a new puzzle game. Called Shattered Dimension, it’s a weird little detective story. Even though the art direction is different from their other projects, Cotton Game still delivers their usual surreal fantasy vibe.

Shattered Dimension plays from an overhead tabletop-style perspective

You’re stuck in a strange border world full of bizarre locations and interconnected mysteries. One minute, you’re poking around inside busy restaurants. And the next, you’re wandering through police stations, grocery stores overflowing with random junk, and hidden laboratories.

Shattered Dimension has you play as an investigator who gets dragged into a labyrinthine plot without warning. There’s puzzle solving, item collecting, and constantly clicking around environments looking for clues.

Conversations with characters matter a lot, too. The story is about unravelling relationships between different people and figuring out how everyone connects to the mystery. You uncover hidden truths while navigating a fantastical world full of imaginative and romantic elements.

Shattered Dimension consists of five stories with different premises. Every episode has its own ending, but unfortunately, finishing the entire collection doesn’t unlock any big reward. You can continue replaying completed episodes once you’re done.

Will you try the game?

Just like previous titles, Shattered Dimension is worth giving a try. It has an unusual premise and visual style, giving you a pretty unusual mystery experience. Also, there are a few inconsistencies between the episodes, especially in the translation since the original version is Chinese.
