Medal Hunter Is a New Mobile PvP Shooter from the Creators of Fishing Clash and Trophy Hunter

Fishing Clash, Hunting Clash, Trophy Hunter, and Wings of Heroes. Now, add Medal Hunter to that list. It’s the latest title from Polish mobile game developer Ten Square Games. Actually, the studio has kicked off the phased launch of the new mobile PvP shooter with a military theme.

It’s a technical release for Medal Hunter

It’s basically the first real step before it goes fully global. Over the next few weeks, it will launch in selected markets before landing worldwide somewhere around the turn of May and June. The game kind of steps away from the studio’s usual hobby-style games and taps into the action space.

Currently, Medal Hunter is available in Mexico, Vietnam, the Philippines and Poland. Around mid-May, it will expand into a broader soft-launch across Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The core of Medal Hunter builds directly on the gameplay model from Trophy Hunter. Instead of hunting, this one drops you into a mobile PvP shooter inspired by historical events. You play as a soldier moving through combat environments.

The architecture, weapons, and surroundings are all based on real-world references. At launch, there are five playable locations based on a specific historical period. Battlefields are inspired by places like Warsaw, Gibraltar, and Pearl Harbor among others.

Matches are short PvP rounds where you chase the highest score by taking down two kinds of moving targets, aircraft and naval units. There are two different shooting models, so you have to constantly adjust trajectory, rhythm, and timing depending on what you are aiming at.

You get different weapons, too, like explosive Flak Cannons for aircraft, naval cannons or guns for sea targets, and precision guns for ground units. You can upgrade each one to boost damage, bullet speed, rate of fire, and overall effectiveness.
