ikami Is a Colourful Endless Runner Game with Colour Blobs and Rainbow Trails

There is a new endless runner called ikami on mobile. It comes from Hawkbit, an indie game development studio based in Austria. The game is pretty simple. You collect colours, build momentum, and use what you’ve gathered to move forward.

Collecting the colours, you drag a growing rainbow behind you the entire time, which ends up being your main tool. The longer your chain survives, the higher your score goes, and that’s the entire loop.

As you keep moving through the bright, constantly shifting environments, you pick up colour blobs that stack into the trailing line. The colours are what let you deal with what’s coming at you.

It’s about matching, too. For instance, if you have collected red, you can smash through red barriers, blue takes out blue blocks, and so on. All you need here is precision and speed.

If you keep crushing obstacles back-to-back without breaking your flow, ikami ramps up your score multiplier and kicks off new colour runs. They are your reward for not messing up. The longer you keep it going, the more your score climbs.

The game does include achievements and global leaderboards. There’s also a colourblind mode, which is a great option considering how much the gameplay depends on distinguishing colours quickly. Take a look at the game’s trailer below.
