Oh Jellies! Is a New Puzzle Title from the Developer of Dadish Series


The developer of the hit mobile platformer series Dadish, Thomas K Young, is back with a new puzzle game. Called Oh Jellies!, it revolves around colourful chain reactions. And you might have already guessed from the game’s title that it involves a lot of jellyfish. You didn’t? Well, no worries!

Set underwater, Oh Jellies! has clusters of bright jellyfish that cling together, moving around the board. You interact with it by dragging jellyfish into place, aiming to connect groups of four or more of the same type.

Once matched, those groups burst into light, clearing space and triggering the next step in the system. Yeah, like a match-3 puzzle. You can derive a cascade effect where multiple groups can pop in sequence, building larger combos without additional input.

Undoubtedly, Oh Jellies! has clear influence from classic falling-block puzzle formats. But there’s no timer. Your scores depend on how many clusters you can clear. There are global leaderboards tracking high scores for players who can consistently trigger large combos.

Visually, the game brings bright, luminous colours and soft effects. And I think that’s its biggest selling point, or rather, playing appeal. While there are tons of similar mobile games out there, the game has the potential to draw players solely through its presentation. Take a look at it below.
