Aurora Hills: Chapter 2 is now available on mobile, taking you back into the mystery. It continues the story from Chapter 1, marking the end of the story. Developed by NovaSoft Interactive, the game follows Ethan Hill investigating a series of mysterious disappearances in West Virginia.

Here’s what’s happening in Aurora Hills: Chapter 2

In a quiet Appalachian setting that has long since lost its calm, the game opens on the morning of October 6th, 1981. Ethan Hill, a park ranger who has spent 11 years working in the region, returns to a ranger station.

The community is shaken by a string of disappearances. What was once a peaceful mountain town has deteriorated into something far more uneasy, with empty spaces. The situation escalates almost immediately when Jen, the only other ranger, is nowhere to be found.

Known for starting her day early, she has already headed out to investigate one of the many closed-off hiking trails of the missing persons cases. Following the notes she left behind, Hill is pushed off the main trail and deeper into the national park, only to discover her campsite in disarray.

With time working against you and daylight already slipping away by midday, Aurora Hills: Chapter 2 puts you in a dilemma. You can turn back, but that would mean abandoning Jen. Or you can continue forward, entering the most remote and rumour-filled parts of the park. These areas have long been associated with local urban legends.

Aurora Hills: Chapter 2 has escape room-style challenges where you must find ways out of complex scenarios. There are hidden object sequences as well, which reward thorough exploration. Puzzles range from simple riddles to logic-based brain teasers.

The game uses a 2D and 2.5D slideshow-style presentation. It also includes a hard mode for an extra level of difficulty. The game is available on the Google Play Store for $3.99.
