15 Apr Mobile Gaming Upcoming Mobile Title Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue Is Bringing the Barbie Fever Back! April 15, 2026 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment New Zealand-based developer PikPok has teamed up with Mattel for a new game. This one is bringing the 2023-2024 Barbie fever back with a similar pink aesthetic. Called Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue, the title will arrive first on mobile worldwide on June 16th, 2026. Meanwhile, versions for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch 2 will release later in 2027. PikPok, developer of Rival Stars Horse Racing, describes it as a relaxed but detailed equestrian title for older teens and adults. Aren’t Barbie and ponies a little girl’s first loves? Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue puts Barbie Brooklyn Roberts and Barbie Malibu Roberts in Moonrise Valley. The central mystery revolves around how a group of horses came to roam freely across the region. You step into the story by creating your own character and joining the pair as volunteers working at the Roaming Hearts Rescue Ranch. It serves as the main hub for rescuing and rehabilitating animals discovered throughout the valley. Activities include grooming horses, building trust through care routines, and gradually expanding a personal stable. You can customise the horses with different saddles, bridles, and other equipment. Their appearances vary through distinct coat colours and patterns that you can collect. You travel across Moonrise Valley on horseback, encountering wildlife and locating horses in need of rescue. You also face challenges, such as Barrel Racing and Time Trial modes. Take a look at Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue below. Barbie: Horse Ride & Rescue also includes an optional subscription system called the Barbie Riding Club. Available in durations of 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year, it provides daily in-game benefits. But I guess, the free-to-play model works best for most of us! You can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store now.
