Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! Releases Biggest Update MySekai

SEGA has rolled out a major new update for Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, with the MySekai Update. It’s one of the most substantial additions to the rhythm adventure game since its original launch. And truly, there’s a lot to unpack in this update!

MySekai brings new systems to Hatsune Miku

The update introduces an entirely new concept known as Sekai. It’s a feature loosely reminiscent of pocket-sized spirit companions. It’s directly connected to an unusual song already present in the game. SEGA has dropped a trailer to showcase how the new content fits into the game. Check it out here!

MySekai also drops a mysterious track called Untitled to Hatsune Miku. It’s a song with no melody and no lyrics that quietly circulates among young people in Shibuya, Tokyo. The song acts as a key, granting access to Sekai.

So, what exactly is Sekai? It’s an unfamiliar space where characters are able to confront their emotions and uncover a song that truly represents them. You work alongside Hatsune Miku, her Virtual Friends, and an original lineup of 20 characters. All of them face personal struggles that are explored through music-driven storytelling.

The MySekai update transports you into your own personal Sekai in Hatsune Miku. You can harvest materials, build furniture, and arrange crafted items. Characters visit through their respective group gates and may comment on furniture, interact with objects, or initiate conversations.

Speaking with characters once per day rewards you with special materials known as Memoria. Meanwhile, upgrading gates allows for more visitors and larger talent boosts.

By building furniture and completing MySekai missions, you can increase your rank. It unlocks new harvesting areas, raising the furniture placement limit, opening additional rooms, and accessing other upgrades.

The update also adds a social feature that lets you take photos with characters and display them in frames. So, get the game from the Google Play Store, if you haven’t already.
