Riot Games announces successful results of LCK photo gallery SEQUENCE 2025

Riot Games has wrapped up its year-end League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) photo exhibition SEQUENCE 2025, drawing more than 30,000 visitors to LoL PARK in Seoul over three weeks.

According to a release, the free exhibition ran through Decemberk, turning the LCK’s 2025 season — including domestic play and international events — into a building-wide gallery experience at the league’s dedicated arena in Jongno.

‘SEQUENCE 2025’ was designed to guide fans through the story of the season in order, using images and video from across the league’s ten organisations. The exhibition was divided into three main areas: a TEAM Zone, SCENE Zone and FAN Zone.

The TEAM Zone organised photos by organisation, following each roster’s campaign through the new single-season LCK format. The SCENE Zone highlighted key moments from domestic play and the LCK’s appearances at international tournaments. The FAN Zone focused on crowds, fan signs and behind-the-scenes moments around LoL PARK and overseas events.

Video content was also shown on-site, including highlight reels from the 2025 season, previously unreleased behind-the-scenes clips and compilations of fan-made cheer signs from across LCK broadcasts. The exhibition attracted an average of roughly 1,500 visitors per day.

Beyond traditional photography, Riot built several installations that encouraged fans to engage with the space. Pixel-art pieces created by artist Studio Pants reinterpreted each of the league’s ten teams and their 2025 narratives in a retro, game-inspired style.

Another focal point was a series of metal prints produced using POSCO’s ‘PosART’ (POSCO Advanced Resolution Printing Technology). These works depicted trophy lifts and decisive moments from the three international tournaments won by LCK teams this year — the First Stand pre-season event, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and the League of Legends World Championship.

On top of the displays, fans could collect ‘Sequence Cards’ that followed the flow of the exhibition to create personalised souvenirs, alongside other commemorative goods sold through the on-site LCK Shop.

One of the most visited corners of ‘SEQUENCE 2025’ was a tribute installation for long-time LCK jungler Han ‘Peanut’ Wang-ho, who announced his retirement from professional League of Legends earlier this year. Peanut most recently represented Hanwha Life Esports and was part of the roster that lifted the First Stand 2025 trophy, adding to a career that included multiple LCK titles and an MSI win in 2017. 

Fans were invited to leave handwritten farewell messages on yellow notes next to the display, turning the area into a de facto message board to mark the end of his decade-long career.

Across the three-week run, the exhibition also hosted a series of side events to keep footfall high and encourage repeat visits. According to the release, these included fan meetings with rosters from Gen.G and Dplus KIA, as well as on-stage programmes featuring LCK interviewers and announcers.

Commercial partners activated on-site as well. Sponsor Woori Bank used the space to promote its youth-focused ‘Teen Teen’ campaign with the idol group QWER, distributing collaboration photocards and posters to several hundred attendees. Cryptocurrency exchange Upbit also handed out branded keycaps to fans who visited during its activation window.

Players from across the league were reported to have stopped by LoL PARK during the exhibition, using the displays to look back on their own performances, sign panels and take photos with fans.

The exhibition followed a landmark competitive year for Korea’s top League of Legends league. In 2025, LCK teams won all three major international events: Hanwha Life Esports claimed the inaugural First Stand tournament, Gen.G repeated as MSI champion after a 29–1 regular season, and T1 secured a historic third consecutive World Championship title with a victory over kt Rolster in an all-Korean final.

By using LoL PARK as a gallery space, ‘SEQUENCE 2025’ effectively turned that competitive dominance — and the fans that filled the arena throughout the year — into a yearbook for the league’s first single-season campaign. According to the release, further details on future LCK exhibitions and off-season events will be shared through the league’s official channels.
