Riot Games has announced the extension of its major partnership with Red Bull for its EMEA competitions in League of Legends and VALORANT.

As a result, the energy drink brand will remain the Official Energy Drink of the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) and the EMEA region of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT).

For the LEC, Red Bull will continue sponsoring the competition until the end of 2026.

Red Bull will maintain naming rights to the ‘Baron Power Play’ which takes place during matches in addition to providing its cans to Riot Games staff, players and commentators at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin.

2025 marks the sixth year of Red Bull’s collaboration with the LEC after joining forces in 2019. Since then, the energy drink brand has become one of the competition’s longest-standing partners.

Similarly to the LEC, Red Bull’s extension with VCT EMEA also runs until the end of 2026. It will continue to act as the presenting partner of the ‘Clutch Moments’ highlight package that plays during broadcasts.

Alongside its integration into the broadcast, Red Bull has revealed plans to host a range of community VALORANT tournaments throughout 2025 and 2026, with more details on participating teams, locations and format ‘coming soon.’

The renewal is the fifth anniversary of Red Bull’s partnership with the VCT EMEA after first joining forces with Riot Games’ tactical shooter title in July 2021.

Stage one of the 2025 VCT EMEA season kicks off on March 26th, 2025 with 12 teams competing for a chance to qualify for VCT Masters Toronto, the second Masters event of the year.

The LEC’s 2025 Spring Split commences on March 29th, 2025 and features the 10 franchise teams battling it out for two qualification spots to the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).
